hi guys

zalak here

sry i didnt attend last meeting, due to some reasons i had go out of the town.

tell me when is next meeting?

If you want to save some money and enjoy your food. Chinese food is your first choice.

Choose chicken wings is a good idea. Bought from ALDI, these chicken wings just cost you 59P .

It is enough for two persons to enjoy.

Using a knife to cut it into three piece is necessary. You can alway throw the top part away, however,it may be really delicious.

Marinate them  in cheap alcohol is a good method to kill all the bad smell of chicken. You can alway pinch your father’s whisky and remember to soak it at least thirty minutes.

Ginger, garlics and leeks will  give the chicken wings some oriental taste.

Cut them as I did on the pictures  saving for later use.

Adding some oil in the cooking pan and turn the fire at the highest temperature to make sure the oil can be really hot.

When the oil gets really hot, put ginger first, stirring it for one minute and put in chicken wings. You should continuously stir the chicken wings till the colour change into brown.

Put a tin of coke. I know it may sounds crazy, but it does works.

In the mean time, add two tea spoons of soy sauce and chinese vinegar . They are available from Chinese supermarket. Far more cheaper than that sold in TESCO.

turn the fire down and boil them till the coke dries out. Approximately, it will take thirty minutes.

LOOK ! So delicious !

It is perfect served with rice. This dish totally cost you 1 pound and it is very nutritious.

  • The book will be a survival guide for the student weekend during the credit crunch.
  • It will feature good food recipies on a shoe string budget.
  • It will also feature how to throw a student party on a budget (maybe also how to deal with the hangover too!)
  • It will be illustrated
  • It’s graphical style will be amusing and quirky
  • It may feature fun tips on fashion, travel and energy saving.
  • The format will be a small pocket/bag sized guide.
  • The style will be well made and durable, but have some of the hallmarks of being produced cheaply, to keep to the credit crunch theme.
  • It will feature snappy quotes from famous people about saving money, to highlight the global background of the issue.

These are points that were discussed and agreed between the present group members  and tutors on the 13th.
